The Gourmet Explorer
Australian Gourmet Traveller hosts a journey through eight of its favourite cities, brought together with the launch of the American Express Explorer Travel Card, exploring everywhere 'fast'. The journey engages you, the user, with three personality related questions, before landing on the city for you.
The brief was to keep primary art direction was established in line with the GT brand: typefaces, lustful photography and romantic writing style, whilst incorporating AMEX characteristics. Each illustrated icon (highlights below) reflects its destination using a simple colour palette and geometric base.
Short-form copywriting involved writing introductions for cities hero sections and journey questions. Destination detail completed by a writer and location images supplied in press packs.
